Joe Cocker fue el primer concierto del día después de la noche maratónica, él abrió el inicio del programa del día a las dos de la tarde.

Se dice que le llegaron a ver 500.000 personas, aunque empezó con un público de 80.000. El recital duró dos horas, siendo el concierto más largo de su historia.
