AWAKE IRON vol 1: A compilation of catalonian metal for download

The spanish blog "Viva Puluba" (http://vivapuluba.blogspot.com) and the chilean blog "La Religion del Rock Pesado" (http://stoneresk.blogspot.com) have just announced the release of the compilation "Desperta Ferro vol-1" including 10 kick-ass songs from thrash, black and death catalonian bands.

Both blogs have also announced they will continue releasing new editions in these and other series of compilations following their goal to help the local underground scenes to be known abroad and delivering to their readers and the whole metal community summaries of the best underground metal currently being performed. From fans to fans.

The compilation has been done with the agreement of the bands included. More than the simple agreement, the bands decided the song to be included and they have had the chance to review their own presentation in order to assure the compilation shows the image they want. This is a key factor for both blogs,a s they stated.

"Desperta Ferro vol-1" includes 

AGGRESSION (http://www.myspace.com/aggressionband): One of the most international known thrashers from Barcelona with their steamroller MOSHPIRIT from their debut album of the same name.

DESECRATION (http://www.myspace.com/desecrationthrash): The youngest band of the compilation with a remastered version of "Face your fear"

EL KASO URKIJO (http://www.myspace.com/verdaderokasourkijo): Wild, speed and bizarre humor. The Viladecans's legend is back after 13 years.

ERED (http://www.myspace.com/ered666): Keeping the ancient metal flame alive, they give us some of their aggressiveness and fury.

LUX DIVINA (http://www.myspace.com/luxdivina):  Recovering the old forgotten values by the modern men, Lux Divina play  Black Metal inspired  in mother nature and the spiritual experiences of life

METRALLA (http://www.myspace.com/metrallaforyourass): Speed, madness and thrash brings Metralla, with “Fok a la Barraka”
