Hank C Burnette

No recuerdo en qué año ni en que rebajas lo encontré. Me llamó la atención la portada (que tenéis algo más abajo) y me lo llevé a casa.

Y lo escuché. Y no me podía creer lo que estaba escuchando. Rock'n'roll destilado que se deslizaba con una sonoridad desconocida para mí. Me alucinó. Lo podréis apreciar al final.

I don't really remember when or where did I found it. I guess it was in some bargain hunting (if this is a right way to call it). I liked the look and I carried it at home.

When I heard it I really couldn't believe it. Rock'n'roll sliding in a way I've never heard before. I really loved it. You can have a taste of what was inside at the end of this post.

He buscado en internet información y también vídeos y he encontrado el canal de Hank C Burnette en youtube. Un canal que os recomiendo visitar.

Hank ha tenido la amabilidad de avisarme de que la información que hay en la red no es exacta y me ha facilitado información correcta acerca de su carrera que iremos publicando en los próximos días.

Mientras tanto, he decidido traeros uno de los vídeos de burnette44 y una playlist con temas de ese maravilloso album, Rockabilly Gasseroonie, que encontré (y algo más).

¡Lástima que no he encontrado su versión de "Over the rainbow"! Era magistral.

I've been searching for information and also for videos over the web and I've found a youtube channel you must visit: Burnette44.

Hank has been kind enough to advice me about not good information about him on the web and also to offer me the right one. We are working on that information to offer it to all of you in the next days.

Meanwhile I’ve decided to bring here one of the burnette44 videos with a great song from the Rockabilly Gasseroonie LP and a imeen playlist with some songs from that awesome album (and some other songs).

The pity is that I haven’t found the “Over the rainbow” version included in the album. A master one.
